<\/p>\nWe are pleased to announce that, following a selection process conducted by the Ministry of Finance, Mgr. Marek \u0160imandl, MPA, has been appointed the new CEO of STC. He previously served as CEO of the Czech Customs Administration, a position he held since 2022. During his tenure, he demonstrated strong strategic leadership, an emphasis on professionalism, and the ability to effectively develop the institution under his charge. Mr. Marek \u0160imandl assumed his new position on March 16, 2026. We are confident that he will successfully apply his experience in managing large organizations, security, and public administration to his leadership role at STC. We look forward to the company\u2019s continued growth under his leadership and wish him every success in his new role.<\/p>\n

General Major Marek \u0160imandl, MPA, has headed the Customs Administration since 2022. Until 2005, he was an employee of the Security Information Service (BIS), from where he moved to the National Security Authority (NB\u00da). From 2017 to 2018, he served on the management board of the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (N\u00daKIB). In 2018, he was appointed Director General of the \u00daZSI, from which he moved to head the Customs Administration in 2022. He studied law at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and completed a postgraduate program in Security and Crisis Management at the CEVRO Institute in Prague.<\/p>\n
