{"id":24958,"date":"2025-11-11T16:53:01","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T15:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stc.cz\/?p=24958"},"modified":"2025-11-18T14:59:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T13:59:38","slug":"the-approaching-end-of-the-exemption-for-unmarked-tobacco-products-with-unique-identifiers-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stc.cz\/en\/the-approaching-end-of-the-exemption-for-unmarked-tobacco-products-with-unique-identifiers-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The approaching end of the exemption for unmarked tobacco products with unique identifiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Track&amp;Trace business partners,<\/p>\n<p>we want to inform you about the upcoming end of the exemption for cigars and other tobacco products without an identifier!<\/p>\n<p>Tobacco products other than cigarettes and tobacco for hand-rolling cigarettes that were manufactured in the EU or imported into the EU before 20.5.2026 may remain in free circulation until 20.5.2026.<\/p>\n<p>Tobacco products not marked with a&nbsp;unique identifier will not be allowed to remain in free circulation after May 20, 2026. This means that they will have to be withdrawn from the market and destroyed. Without a&nbsp;unique identifier, they will also not be allowed to be exported outside the EU.<\/p>\n<p>One option is to export these tobacco products to a&nbsp;third country before
