The\u00a0commemorative banknote<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0with the motif of a\u00a0crystalline cubist box<\/strong>, is the result of close cooperation between the ST\u00c1TN\u00cd TISK\u00c1RNA CENIN (State Printing works for Securities \u2013 STC) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. STC has prepared and printed the commemorative banknote according to a\u00a0design by student Tuan Vuong Trong, who has used motifs of Czech applied art as a\u00a0way of presenting national wealth. The commemorative cubism banknote presents a\u00a0box in the shape of a\u00a0stylised crystal, a\u00a0legendary work from 1911 by\u00a0Czech architect and\u00a0designer Pavel Jan\u00e1k<\/strong>. The obverse of the banknote depicts the\u00a0cover of Otokar Fischer\u2019s book of poems \u201cOz\u00e1\u0159en\u00e1 okna\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0designed by\u00a0Czech typographer and illustrator Vratislav Hugo Brunner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The commemorative banknote can be purchased separately or in a\u00a0gift cover, folder with a\u00a0transparent pocket (PVC) for the print placement. Thanks to the use of a\u00a0high-quality graphical paper with the grammage of 300 g\/m2 in the dark green colour Keaykolour Original Holly and the intaglio printing technology, your product will become an original and exceptional gift for your loved ones or business partners.<\/p>\n

The commemorative banknote featuring the \u201ccubism\u201d motif cannot be reserved. It will be available for purchase from the\u00a0STC e-shop<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0from 1st December 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
