The commemorative banknote, featuring a motif of a building block set created by Ladislav Sutnar <\/strong>called \u201cBuild the Town\u201d<\/strong>, is the result of close cooperation between the ST\u00c1TN\u00cd TISK\u00c1RNA CENIN\u00a0(State Printing Works for Securities \u2013 STC) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. STC has prepared and printed the commemorative banknote according to a design by student Tuan Vuong Trong, who has used motifs of Czech applied art as a way of presenting national wealth. This particular commemorative note depicts a creation of well-known Czech graphic designer Ladislav Sutnar, who created the prototype of the building block set in 1942, after emigrating to\u00a0New York.<\/p>\n

The commemorative banknote featuring the \u201cLadislav Sutnar\u201d motif cannot be reserved. It will be available for purchase from the STC e-shop<\/strong><\/a> from 16 November 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
